Segregated initial questions

Are you in possession of a legal document which states you have segregated in law?

The legal document which states that the scheme is a segregated sectionalised scheme will form part of the governing documentation for the scheme.  This will often by contained within the Trust Deed and rules or a formal document which makes an amendment to the Trust Deed and rules.

Is the scheme in the PPF assessment period, or transferred into the PPF?

A scheme may have entered the PPF assessment period where an employer has suffered an insolvency event and the PPF is considering whether scheme members are eligible for compensation.  A scheme will have fully transferred into the PPF where all scheme assets and all scheme liabilities have been transferred into PPF.

What is the segregated start date?

This is the date from which the scheme has been segregated whereby each section is treated as if it were a separate scheme.
